A little progress from thxgiving week, finally!!

OS:Sneering at their strugglings is easy OS: Listening to them with your heart, is hard. A thought about how to put my piece together just hit me ...thank god! Here is a quick rough storyboard....just for myself to catch the thought which I've been waiting for whole week.

OS: everybody has highs and lows OS: But like other ten millions, I am facing something different OS:Bipolar disorder is a real illness, like cancer or diabetes OS:The chemical imbalance in my brain makes my moods and energy shift OS: severely. Ideally it will be a piece that combines motion graphic and 3d visual effect. Sorry if some transitions in between is not very clear right now. It took me a long time trying to make it informative and making sense in a way. I also took the suggestion of Ethan from midterm presentation and tried to make the OS sounds more personal. ...

The attemp to start over!! Storyboard, rough version

After getting the feedback from others, and seeing Anezka's class presented on Tuesday, I feel I need to work on extending my storyboard more. Considering the previous story didn't cover the mania part of bipolar disorder, I think it is crucial to include that in my new story. Also the feedback shows that I need to find a way to make the metaphor explicit to my audience or they would otherwise misunderstand the message or even not getting it at all. So I came up with this new storyline. Playing with the metaphor of wave to imply the strength of mood-swings of bipolar syndromes. Also I want the voice of this PSA being more informative and direct in order to give my audience a clear sense what the film is about. Right now the voice is the copy I wrote, however, Im also thinking Ethan's suggestion in my midterm presentaion: tell the story from a more personal perspective.
