  1. Cut down the copy( the voice over in my animatik), limit them into three sentences.
  2. Stay in third party perspective
  3. Focus on the main messages I want to /should be deliver, which are:
  • Bipolar disorder is a real illness
  • 20.9 millions people are suffering from this
  • Be a friend, be supportive.
Also she has the same concern about the octopus. It's sketchy on the conceptual side, and too difficult to model/rig. I'll seriously consider to take that out regardless how much I love it visually....

Another really valid reminder is the fact that PSA cant live outside the context of campaign or media exposure. That's why I've been shooting out emails, seeking for opportunities to cooperate with organizations that work on mental illness issues. However I do have to work harder to get the connections I hope to get, or start thinking about what other works need to be done to fulfill my purpose.

So, my next step will be:
  • finalize the storyboard and rewrite a more focus, object oriented copy associate with it.
  • Another version of animatik
  • find/establish connections
  • Start modeling
  • A blocking animatik
  • Look and feel test and styleframe
