Precedents

look and feel reference
commercial by Laurent Nicolas
An animation directed by Russell Brooke. The cartoon shows a 2d cartoon kid being hit and bounce around like all the old school funny cartoons. However as the story goes the audience will find out it’s a kid that being abused. At the end the kid got thrown to the wall and fell, the camera than revealed it’s a real kid, and said “real kid don’t bounce back.
This piece is interesting and relevant for me to look at because it shows the power of story-telling techniques, also it reminds me the importance of slogan and text in an animation based PSA.
