short film reference:Tempbot

I really like this film because it deals with the issue that I'm interested in: How all kinds of relationship affect the psychological status of people who live/work in an urban environment. The director(Neill Blamkamp) used a robot as the lead role to illustrate the distance between people; the fail endeavor to get closer to others; and the sense of being lonely inherent in our lives. The beauty of this film is that it depict the subtle feelings we have of being isolated in the modern society in a innovative way. I also like the art direction, how they composited everything, and the way the director tell the narrative. watch the film here: Tempbot
